I could not have asked for a better experience in the 5 months I took one-on-one classes with my tutor Omar Ortiz. The curriculum of the classes was clear and organized but also allowed for time for conversation which was the best way for me to learn so my tutor was able to shape the class that worked best for me. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it.

I have just completed the fifth level and must say that I cannot imagine a better way for a busy adult to learn Spanish. The individual attention, the knowledge of the tutors, and the program of study maximize the benefit one receives. It has opened up a whole new world of experience for me, right in my own neighborhood.

I love my Spanish Blackbelt class! Omar is an excellent teacher and I love the fact that the class is structured, but flexible enough to allow plenty of everyday conversation in Spanish. I would recommend (and have recommended) it to anyone who is serious about learning Spanish

I have recently completed my first course (Level Light Blue) with Spanish Blackbelt and I am glad I decided to try them. My instructor, Lourdes, was great and I believe that my grammar has improved immensly. My intension is to continue with the next level.

I had a fantastic first session with a Brooklyn tutor. The curriculum and small group setting allowed the tutor to tailor lessons to my and my classmate’s abilities. The class has helped me to improve my grammar, vocabulary, and confidence in speaking in just a few weeks. I look forward to my next course!

I have been wanting to learn Spanish for years and finally got the chance this summer with SpanishBlackbelt. I entered in the White Belt level and already feel as though I’ve improved in leaps and bounds. My instructor is helpful, patient and has made this a really great experience. I’ll definitely be registering for the next level. I highly recommend this program to anyone considering it.

Spanish BB will improve your Spanish skills by leaps and bounds. When I first started I could barely count, in the weeks, yes weeks, since, I’ve learned at an amazing rate of speed.

I would highly recommend Spanish Blackbelt to anyone considering Spanish lessons. The lesson format is informal and relaxed, the materials are easy to access and the tutors are great at making the whole experience fun and interactive. I progressed much more quickly than I expected or hoped. Muchas gracias y hasta la proxima clase!

I lived abroad in South America and learned what I know of Spanish from listening and using it in my daily life. When I came home, I needed some formal Spanish instruction to fill in all the areas that I did not know. The one-on-one setup has worked out great, and the curriculum is fit to what I need to learn. My instructor helps me choose what lesson we should do next, and she makes sure to speak to me as much as possible in Spanish. I would highly recommend tutoring either in group or one-on-one, especially if you have specific goals for why you are wanting to learn. My tutor allows me to make the sessions my own and at my own pace.

I took 16 hours and completed level i—white belt. it was a very good experience. My tutor Juana Rosa was excellent. She was very patient but also encouraging. I learned a great deal in a short time. I am excited to continue learning and I wish I lived where this service was available. I was only in New York for a month and now I am moving home.

Carolina is an excellent instructor. She’s patient, organized, smart and has a terrific sense of humor. She has a special talent for breaking down grammatical concepts and making them very understandable - all in Spanish. I recommend her without reservation.

My classes with Spanish Blackbelt have improved my Spanish significantly. My instructor tailors our classes to my “areas for improvement” and is thorough, creative and positive. I would recommend this program to beginners as well as more advanced students.

I am currently in my 3^rd week of classes which I take twice a week with Spanish Black belt. I took Spanish throughout high school and college, and without practice over the past 10 years I did not retain it. I purchased Rosetta stone about 2 years ago to start studying it and that helped to get me learning the basics again but since the entire program is in Spanish and there is no one to ask questions after a certain point I realized I needed additional help. I started taking Berlitz Spanish classes which is sponsored by my job but much of the work is still on your own online and the pace was not that great which became very frustrating. You also don’t get to practice hands on much because most of the work is done online and alone. So in searching for a better way to learn Spanish I found spanishblackbelt online. It is not paid for by my job but it defiantly is worth the investment. I am becoming much more confident in speaking Spanish and realizing that I know more than I thought because I can now practice with my instructor. In three weeks I can say I see much improvement with my Spanish speaking and much of the things I did not understand in the past are being clarified with the one on one learning environment. As far as the customer service I was also happy that I was able to restructure my days in order to learn at a pace that was more comfortable for me. I thought that was great for the school to work with me even after the class started. I will recommend this program to others.
